Pixel dimensions = The horizontal and vertical measurements of an image expressed in pixel.

Dpi resolution (dot per inch) = the number of pixels in an image is something called resolution in the dots per inch.

Quality (of an image) = its important, the image depends on the contrast, brightness and highlights, that determines whether its good or bad quality.

Compression settings = reduces size of data in order to save space. 

Bitmap/raster = raster imagie made out of pixels, each pixel is made with colour value. when the size is changed the imagie can stretch and become poor quality.

   Tiff = tiff is a high graphics imagie format. 
 .jpg= takes less space and gets saved in a different format 
.png= png is a portable network

Gif= is "Graphics Interchange Format - Picture Format
pdf = portable document format
